He's been in band like Racer X and Mr Big and have decided to go solo in recent years. Its not unusual for him to perform songs like "Fly me to the moon" though. Enjoy the video.

Oh by the way...
If you are interested and now sure how to record your own composition..
Here's how.

You need a microphone(duh!) or if you're playing the guitar, you can plug it into your computer. Im not sure about the latter, but i will dig out more information about it.
There's a free software that allows you to mix, cut, copy, paste, add effects to your tracks. You can download it from here.
If you think your music sounds weird without any accompaniment, you can download backing tracks here. But they are for guitars but of course it doesnt mean its only restricted to guitars only. You can play along with the tracks with your own instrument and probably you might create something awesome!

Hey!
I finally set up this brand new blog after signing up for the Blogger Beta Scheme thingy! Its really easy to use because I don't have to edit any HTML codes! There is a template which serves as a guide for me, making my life much more easy when I need to edit certain parts of the website.

Anyway, the purpose of this blog is to allow my friends to get in touch with all kinds of music we play. It doesnt have to be Steve Vai's music though, it can be Jazz, Classical or any other genres. It can be recorded from the keyboards, the guitar, the saxaphone or any other musical instruments. It also serves as a medium for my friends to share any interesting music videos they find on the Internet.

Since this blog is rather new, this circle of friends have not been formed yet. If you are interested to start the ball rolling and start uploading your own composition, you can leave me a msg.
